Class Parties With Encaustics And FriendsDid you ever want to hold a fun gathering with friends. Hold art class parties. I mentioned this to Tina Callahan while she saw me painting one day in the gallery and she thought it would be fun. So we set a date and 3 of the 4 friends she had invited showed up. Carol Van Buren and Lisa Pinkerton sat on both sides of her ( Carol to the left ) and to set the mood a great selection of goodies to eat and wine to drink. There was also a secret mix of white sangria that was oh so good. If I can get Tina to part with the receipe I will post it here. You can see everyone had quite a good time and this is one art party idea to remember. I have done this with moms and their grown daughters for a great get together. Try it you will like it.
This was a fun experience with three friends doing art together and cementing their creative bond together. Now it could be the party supplies that were brought along which did set the mood right from the beginning.
