I had a show at the Lynnwood Wa Library. Here is how the show looked.

As I produce new work and show it at Gallery North in Edmonds, WA. I will post them here for you as well.

Shoot The Moon (on the left) and Behold ( on the right)With Shoot The Moon (which just won an award at the East Side Association Of Fine Arts juried show in Redmond, WA. ) I used a lot of tissue that I also rubbed in some Luminart paint on the tooth of the tissue that was not totally covered in wax. Also this has some sheet wax as well for more texture. Behold has many new items in it like clear and translucent jells, also the sheet wax and I even took a rubber stamp image on a piece of CD that was cut after heating and poured some hot thick embossing power over it as well.

Geneses was another fun project where I took the hot embossing power and melted it and poured it on some blue laser foil so that it stuck and pulled off the foil on the surface. I used that side up to embed into the wax. I liked what happen with this as well.

I decided to do some panel pieces on wood. This was the first and I taped off and waxed then fixed some metal pieces and even a domino with a picture of one of my wax paintings. Tried a rust paint but it was not what I wanted and order some for my next series. This one sort of reminded me of the aftermath of the California Fires. Just the foundations and some trinkets left over for the Memories.

I saw in a gallery in Vancouver BC where an artist used iron paint over some writing with a glue gun and then rusted the paint. I thought I would give that a try and use the Phantom song as a theme. So each of the four panels has some of the text written on it. " Let Your Soul Take You Where You Long To Be" is the phrase and the overall effect I like as well. Areas taped off and waxed then a protective coating over that.
