How To Make A Difference
At the local artist connect meeting an announcement was made that an old historic home in town was attempting to be saved by the formation of a non profit foundation which was leasing the home while it was for sale with the wish that community support could be aroused and it would be preserved for the town. There was to be a four pronged mission for the home: 1. Art 2. Health and Wellness 3. Global Understanding and 4. A Sustainable Environment. I fit into the Art arena quite nicely so I thought I would get involved. Which I did and am now on the Board of Directors. I got my co op gallery, Gallery North, of Edmonds WA, to hang a show in the whole house. August of 09 it will be up for the month. Today I was excited as we just got the online donation program put together so now you can get out your credit cards and make a difference. Here is the link:
